今アフリカのキリマンジャロの頂上をめざして登山中とのこと。

これはＵＮ　ＷＯＭＥＮの重点活動の一つである
女性への暴力にＮｏ！といおう、

［Ｓａｙ　Ｎｏ　ｔｏ　ｖｉｏｌｅｎｃｅ　ａｇａｉｎｓｔ　ｗｏｍｅｎ］，

いわゆるＳａｙ　Ｎｏキャンペーンの一環です。
写真の大きな旗をキリマンジャロの頂上に立てるそうです。

すごいですね。
今月の８日、登頂の予定だそうです。
キリマンジャロはとってもきれいですね。

Dear colleagues,
 
Today is the day of the climb: climb up speak out!
 
We are 75 climbers from all walks of life: government, UN, youth and women organizations, media, UNFCU, celebrities etc. The spirits are high and the enthusiasm of the climbers is contagious.
 
Even though logistically it was very challenging, the climb is well organized by UNFCU and the south African office.
 
People are well equipped and politically the climb is getting lots of attraction. Even the president of Tanzania is joining the beginning of the climb. Also the CEO of UNFCU is climbing as well as other Tanzanian ministers.
 
For the send-off ceremony we expect quite a few ambassadors and our very own John Hendra.
 
Will keep this brief as we are gathering for breakfast and eating & drinking seem to be so essential for our success. Nomcebo is quite inspirational and is determined to bring the Say No campaign to its highest height!!
